Maadi hopefuls

An economic impact study from Maadi in 2021 estimated the value to the area of the national secondary schools rowing regatta on Lake Karāpiro at more than $13 million. The event was launched in Cambridge for the 150 schools competing with a banner parade.  Photo: Mary Anne Gill
